1. Who We Are

SuperWaitlist ("we", "us", "our") operates the waitlist platform available at superwaitlist.me. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect data in connection with our Service.

2. Data We Collect

Account data — name, email address, and authentication credentials when you register.

Billing data — payment information is processed by Dodo Payments. We store only a customer reference ID, never raw card details.

Waitlist submission data — the form fields (email, name, etc.) submitted by visitors to your waitlists. This data is collected on your behalf and you are the data controller for it.

Usage data — IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and analytics.

Location data — when enabled, we resolve the submitter's IP address to a country and city using a geolocation database. We do not store raw IP addresses beyond short-lived processing.

3. How We Use Data

• To provide and operate the Service
• To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)
• To send welcome emails to waitlist signups on your behalf
• To improve and secure the Service
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication
• Dodo Payments — subscription billing
• MongoDB Atlas — data storage
• Resend / SMTP providers — email delivery (when connected by you)

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and appropriate data processing agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist submission data is retained until you delete it or close your account. You can delete individual submissions or entire waitlists at any time from the dashboard.

Upon account closure, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies solely for authentication purposes. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our landing site uses no analytics cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Correction — update inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect.
